Job Title: Energy Admin Assistant

Pay Range: $14.42-$16.00
Timeframe: Open until filled, Estimated 2-4 weeks
Summary:
The Energy Admin Assistant reports to the Energy Director and is responsible for answering phone calls and recording service orders. In this role, you will exhibit exceptional organizational abilities, communication skills, and customer service. As one of the first points of contact for the Energy Department, this position takes a proactive approach to problem-solving and time management to ensure a smooth, effective, and productive flow for the team. Success in this role will require a positive attitude, great work ethic, organizational skills, and people skills!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take fuel and service orders by obtaining all pertinent information to facilitate the accurate and swift fulfillment of such orders
- Checking credit and account status prior to calling the propane drivers
- Maintain accurate records of all movement of LP Gas rental tanks and balance monthly
- Maintain accurate records of all Cardtrol Care and ensure proper coding
- Adjust and maintain accurate records of Budget Billing accounts
- Take appropriate action on delinquent accounts, with guidance from the Energy Director
- Type all correspondence for the Energy Department
- Calculate and input service tickets into the computer
- Pull and balance all commercial accounts each week
- Assist in preparation and paperwork of month-end inventory
- Assist in collecting necessary information to calculate state and federal taxes on gas
- Audit transport driver logs for accuracy
- Handle and resolve customer complaints. Escalate complaints when needed to Energy Director
- Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months of related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid Driver’s License
