Job Title: Warehouse Labor

Department: Administration

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Status: Part-time, Non-exempt (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

Range: $14.42-$15.25/hour

Timeframe: Open until filled, estimated 2-3 weeks

 

 

Summary:

The Warehouse Labor reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for performing all daily operations of the Warehouse. This role will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and organized working environment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sorts and places product or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code and rotation
  • Assembles customer order from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to customer vehicles
  • Marks materials with identifying information
  • Inspects sales, crates, and other containers upon arrival
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed, if necessary
  • Uses computer to enter records
  • Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specification
  • Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant, or pick up items from several locations for shipment
  • Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other locations
  • Keep Warehouse/dock and bullpens clean and orderly
  • Helps maintain trash containers at C-Store, Warehouse, Farm Store and Shop
  • Maintain the vehicles and equipment within department
  • Fills propane bottles while staying compliant with safety measures
  • Maintains inventory records
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or working towards degree
  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Valid Driver’s License

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
